Overview We are looking for an IT Finance Analyst to join our team for a 12 month FTC. Reporting into the IT Commercial Manager, the primary role of the IT Commercial Analyst is to manage the BAU and project cost base processes for Group IT. The role is hybrid with the requirement to travel to Chippenham approximately once a week. How will you contribute? Manage the IT budget and actuals and advising the relevant budget stakeholders within IT, Responsible for the documentation and continual improvement of controls and processes related to IT financial governance Defines and implements robust controls and processes to maintain strict governance over the IT cost base. Continually seeks to improve existing controls and processes. Responsible for ensuring that the IT team adheres to the defined governance processes and delivers coaching/training where required. Manages the day-to-day governance and processing of the IT BAU cost base and performance against budget/forecast. Manages the project cost trackers with PMs for all IT funded projects. Is the SME within Group IT for finance matters and the Oracle Purchase to Pay process. Manages IT timesheet recoveries with IT team leads. Is the point of contact within Group IT for Finance to ensure month end financial processing is accurate. Provides value adding and insightful analysis and commentary to assist senior decision making. What will you bring? Experience within a similar role Demonstrate drive, energy, and a commitment to the continuous improvement of overall performance. Be financially literate and have an excellent understanding of management accounting principles. Be proactive, inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams to drive performance. Be able to work independently and to seek out areas of concern / control gaps and remedy. Should be flexible and respond positively and accurately to internal customer requests. Excellent stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels. Be able to make changes to controls/processes and have the ability to change the culture within the team make stakeholders see the benefit of changes made. Have excellent PC skills and be able to understand and harness IT and systems to benefit the operation. What do we offer?
