Overview of the role:
We are seeking a proactive Content & SEO Coordination Manager with a passion for sports betting and gaming to join iBus Media.
This role involves managing both the creative aspects (writing and editing) and the strategic aspects (SEO alignment and workflow coordination) at a managerial level.
iBus Media is an online marketing agency supporting global brands under the Flutter umbrella, offering services including content, design, development, and SEO.
This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work with office presence, with arrangements tailored through discussions with your manager to ensure optimal collaboration and quality time together.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Lead end-to-end content creation: Produce and refine SEO-friendly articles, news stories, and guides, aligning each piece with keyword strategies to enhance search visibility.
2. Coordinate content workflows: Identify content needs, onboard freelance writers, assign tasks, and manage deadlines using CMS and project management tools to ensure timely delivery.
3. Publish and organize content: Upload and format articles in various Content Management Systems, adhering to brand and editorial standards.
4. Monitor projects and deadlines: Use project management tools to track content initiatives, deadlines, and priorities.
5. Establish and monitor QA processes: Define editorial checklists, style guidelines, and proofing routines; conduct regular content audits for consistency and compliance.
6. Research and ideation: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and SEO best practices to generate engaging content ideas.
7. Report to stakeholders: Compile and present reports on project progress, content performance, and key metrics for transparency and strategic alignment.
8. Collaborate across teams: Work with editors, designers, and marketing teams to align content with brand and marketing objectives.
Qualifications and skills:
1. Content & SEO expertise: Proven writing experience with a portfolio of SEO-optimized content, understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and performance metrics.
2. Workflow coordination: Ability to manage multiple projects, onboard freelance contributors, and utilize tools like AirTable, Trello, Asana, or Jira.
3. CMS proficiency: Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and basic HTML editing skills.
4. Analytical & strategic skills: Competence in using Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar tools to analyze metrics and inform content strategy.
5. Attention to detail: Experience in defining and enforcing editorial standards and QA routines.
6. Adaptability: Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating with remote teams and influencing without authority.
8. Stakeholder reporting: Experience in preparing and presenting performance reports to internal stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Experience in sports betting or gaming industries.
2. Proven success in managing editorial calendars and freelance teams.
3. Hands-on experience with project management tools like AirTable, Trello, Asana, or Jira.
4. Experience in using analytics platforms to monitor and optimize content performance.
5. Strong stakeholder communication skills.
