Job Overview: This role will involve all aspects of responsive property as well as planned maintenance. Location - Oxford, Basingstoke, Slough, and surrounding areas, covering the South Central region. Responsibilities & Duties: Oversee void rooms and units to prepare for new occupier Oversee maintenance of common part areas Painting Basic Plumbing Basic carpentry including door hanging (Essential) Lock changing (Essential) Gardening including fencing Bathrooms and kitchen repairs Furniture / Rubbish removals Cleaning (desirable) Problem solving Key Stakeholders Internal: Maintenance Department Landlord Services Team External: Landlords and Letting Agents Residents Personal Characteristics: Skills Essential: Basic carpentry including door hanging Lock changing Painting and decorating Ability to work independently or as part of a team Current driving licence Desirable: Cleaning Knowledge Essential: Basic knowledge of electrics Previous experience as a maintenance operative in multisite Desirable: Basic knowledge of gas boilers & electric heating systems Behaviour Resilient and able deal with people who are complex and sometimes challenging.
