Overview
Glynde Ward is a busy, acute 30‑bedded Acute General Medicine ward. We have an excellent multidisciplinary team approach and work with an extended team.
Responsibilities
* Provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings, removal of urinary catheter.
* Complete the Induction course, including all Trust statutory and mandatory training.
* Work as part of a team, using initiative and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
* Contribute fully as a member of the multi‑disciplinary team and assist in sharing knowledge and experience with the ward.
Qualifications
* Minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4, or Functional Skills for English/Maths.
* Care Certificate and/or NVQ2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Hospital experience desirable but not essential.
