Purpose of the role
Manage and monitor supplier risk and performance to meet Barclays' standards through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.
Accountabilities
* Manage and execute supplier control processes, oversee supplier performance, and monitor KPIs.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to meet procurement needs, policies, and standards, mitigate risks, and align supplier relationships with the bank’s strategy.
* Identify suitable suppliers through market research, capability analysis, and contract negotiation.
* Attend conferences and training to stay updated on industry trends and tools.
* Monitor suppliers to meet Barclays' standards and contractual obligations, including quality, risk mitigation, and commercial activities.
* Support regulatory requests and examinations in collaboration with regulatory teams.
