Appeals and Resolutions Officer - SENDBournemouth Hybrid Working Preferred £190-£210 per dayPertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Appeals and Resolutions Officer to provide specialist support within a high-volume statutory SEND appeals service in Bournemouth.This is a key role focused on ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining service continuity, and supporting lawful decision-making across mediation and SEND Tribunal processes.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating mediation and SEND Tribunal activityManaging appeal cases from initial receipt through to conclusionMonitoring and meeting statutory deadlinesPreparing and quality assuring evidence and case documentationProviding expert advice on SEND legislation and appeals proceduresSupporting lawful and defensible decision-makingWorking closely with case officers, managers, and legal servicesReducing the risk of missed deadlines, complaints, and Judicial ReviewRequirements:Previous experience within a SEND appeals or resolutions serviceStrong understanding of SEND legislation and Tribunal processesAbility to manage a high-volume caseload effectivelyExcellent written communication and organisational skillsLocal authority experience preferredWhy work through Pertemps?
