Your Role:
As a Junior Market Data Services Analyst, you will provide MDS commercial administrative support for global business partners and manage MDS spend. Responsibilities include inventory management using Optimize Spend, MDS invoice processing, contract review, and vendor relationship management.
What you will be doing:
* Process vendor invoices verified against contractual obligations to ensure accurate billing and allocations within the Market Data Services inventory system (e.g., FITS: Optimize Spend)
* Deal with vendors on billing queries to resolve invoice variances and update MDS inventory system
* Provide comprehensive MDS administrative support while maintaining all aspects of the market data inventory system to oversee over $135m MDS spend globally
* Assist the MDS senior team with vendor management, procurement, and contracts
* Coordinate with legal teams on new contracts and ensure policy compliance
* Support internal partners with data requests and access via MDS platforms
* Coordinate with technology teams for onboarding new services and data
What you will bring:
* Experience in Investment Services industry in an MDS Admin Analyst role
* Vendor invoicing and MDS principles knowledge
* Experience managing MDS inventory systems, preferably with Optimize Spend
* Familiarity with vendors like Bloomberg, Factset, Refinitiv, and others
* Understanding of vendor contract language
* Proficiency in Excel
* Knowledge of investment services business drivers
* Degree or relevant Market Data experience
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
* Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
* Ability to work under deadlines and solve problems analytically
