You’ll lead the development of processes, procedures, and people—bringing technical excellence, challenge, and innovation to everything you do. You’ll be a trusted advisor, a strategic thinker, and a cultural champion, helping us stay ahead of regulatory requirements and industry expectations. What You’ll Be Accountable ForLead assurance activities across our management systems, ensuring compliance with stakeholder and industry standards.Become a subject matter expert in nuclear and assurance disciplines including security & resilience, HSEQ, and information governance.Drive investigations to uncover root causes and embed lessons learned.Shape technical specifications for contracts and procurement, identifying risks and opportunities.Build strong relationships across NTS, NDA, regulators, and industry bodies.Design and deliver training that ensures our people are SQEP—and explore opportunities to generate revenue through external training.Stay ahead of the curve on regulatory and industry updates, maintaining oversight of relevant systems.Represent NTS at meetings with customers and professional bodies (e.g. ONR, Chamber of Shipping, RSSB, NR).Support risk management, including development of risk registers and assurance of business risks.Lead dashboard development and use data to identify technical improvements and support performance.Support licensing and permit requirements, acting as quality control checker and regulatory liaison officer.
