About the school:
Tor View School is a special school that enables young people with Autism, trauma-related interruptions, communication needs, and learning difficulties to access an appropriate curriculum in a supportive environment in Devon. We have been rated ‘Good’ overall and ‘Outstanding’ in categories such as ‘Behaviour and attitudes’, ‘Personal development’, and ‘Leadership and management’ by Ofsted.
In the recent Ofsted report, inspectors said: ‘Pupils shine at this happy and effective school. They feel valued and safe because staff understand their needs and how to meet them. Staff promote positive relationships very effectively, securing a holistic view of pupils' needs and challenges, ensuring tailored, personalised programmes of study.’
