OPERATIONAL TEAM LEADER
Salary: Band 7
Locations: Worthing and Tangmere
We are looking for experienced and engaged Paramedics to join our operational leadership team at both Tangmere and Worthing.
The successful applicant will be a keen problem solver, a caring individual, and dedicated to providing compassionate leadership to our frontline teams.
To apply, you must have successfully completed a minimum of two years as a practicing Experienced Paramedic at Band 6 by the advert closing date.
You will have the passion and drive to support your team in delivering the highest levels of patient care and clinical safety.
Interviews will take place over two days. If shortlisted, you will be required to attend an EPRR assessment and ALS on Monday 14th July. Only if successful will you be invited to the second part on Thursday 24th July.
Main duties of the job
We seek highly motivated, operationally focused HCPC registered clinicians who desire to develop and lead an effective operational team. This includes ensuring the delivery of clinical and non-clinical KPIs at Tangmere and Worthing.
Operational Team Leaders will provide effective leadership, clinical and management support for their team, including maintaining welfare, supporting personal development, and reviewing performance.
You will also perform Operational Command duties that include large-scale and major incidents.
You will act as a direct line manager for operational staff, providing support, welfare, and development.

This role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a high degree of personal organisation to determine priorities and handle a range of issues. You need to be an excellent problem solver, demonstrating flexibility in your approach to the changing priorities the Trust faces daily.
Note that the salary range aligns with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. Successful applicants will be placed at the bottom unless relevant NHS or equivalent experience is demonstrated.
