The Uniserve Group, a dynamic and rapidly growing UK-based logistics and supply chain group with a substantial global footprint, is seeking a passionate Junior Legal Counsel to join our expanding in-house legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and self-starting individual at the early stages of their legal career who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
As part of the Legal team, you will have exposure to a wide range of legal matters including contract negotiations, dispute resolution, corporate transactions, and compliance. You will be encouraged to show initiative, develop new skills, and contribute fresh ideas to help shape the future of our legal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Drafting & Negotiation - Assist with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts (NDAs, customer/supplier agreements, logistics, marine insurance, customs, etc.) and advise on contract terms to align with business objectives and manage risks.
2. Dispute Resolution & Litigation - Support dispute resolution and provide legal advice on cost-effective strategies.
3. M&A Support - Assist with legal due diligence and corporate transactions.
