Role details
* Job Title: Lead Clinician – Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist
* Location: Skylarks School – Surrey KT18 7LR
* Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Contract: Permanent (term time only, or flexibility around a full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
Role and responsibilities
The postholder will manage the in-house Clinical Team at Skylarks School, working with the School’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. They will split time between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload, delivering bespoke assessments and interventions for pupils with complex needs (autism and other neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH). The role focuses on meeting EHCP plan needs via OFG’s all/group/individual clinical approaches embedded in clinical practice. They will coordinate line management of the onsite clinical team and contribute to service development of the school-based clinical service alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Essential Criteria
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred)
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
