Support Workers (Days) – Maternity Cover (6–8 Months, Potential for Permanent Role)

We’re currently recruiting a Support Worker to join our dedicated team at our Male Only 13-bed residential care home, which provides high-quality support for male adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, complex needs, autism, and associated challenging behaviours.
We have one full-time maternity cover position available:

Day Support Worker: 8:00am – 8:00pm
Both roles are initially 6–8 month fixed-term contracts, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents
*
Assist with personal care, daily living activities, and promoting independence
*
Support individuals to engage in meaningful activities and community life
*
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
*
Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the best outcomes for residents
About You
*
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others
*
Able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Good communication and record-keeping skills
*
Experience in a similar care setting is desirable, but full training will be provided
*
Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
