As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when needed, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
About the role
As a Senior Night Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the different needs of residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You may also support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Like everyone here, you will respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and contribute to creating an environment that is warm, welcoming and vibrant.
About you
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Night Care Assistant. We also need to see specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We’re looking for warm-hearted, compassionate and committed individuals who provide each resident with individualised care and support. You will have opportunities to develop your career through ongoing training, with potential progression to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing roles.
