Sales Manager – Mid-Market | IT Systems & Solutions Reseller
Sheffield (3 days office-based)
Circa £80,000 + Excellent OTE and Benefits package
Are you an experienced Sales Manager from an IT reseller environment ready to lead a team focused on strategic growth rather than transactional sales?
Our client is looking for a driven leader to manage and develop a mid-market sales team within an established IT systems and solutions reseller.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands how customers buy technology through the reseller channel and can coach teams to move from product sales to consultative, outcome-based engagements.
The Role
You’ll lead a team responsible for an established book of mid-market accounts, with a clear mission:
* Grow customer share of wallet
* Develop long-term strategic relationships
* Identify new technology and transformation opportunities
* Drive solutions-led selling across IT systems, services, and integrated solutions
Role & Responsibilities:
* Leading, coaching, and developing a mid-market sales team
* Driving revenue and margin growth across existing accounts
* Building strategic account plans and pipeline discipline
* Supporting complex IT solutions opportunities
* Working closely with vendors, pre-sales, and delivery teams
* Creating a high-performance, accountable sales culture
Skills & Experience needed:
* Proven background working for an IT systems & solutions reseller / VAR / systems integrator (essential)
* Experience leading B2B sales teams
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, managed services, or solutions selling
* Track record of growing accounts and expanding customer value
* Strong commercial and leadership capability
