An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-established specialist education setting supporting children and young people aged 3–18. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, working 8.430am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that end times may vary on some weekdays. You will be working in an inclusive and forward-thinking learning environment that places wellbeing, engagement and personal development at its heart. Learners present with a range of Special Educational Needs, which may include: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ADHD and associated behavioural challenges and Communication and sensory needs. Key Responsibilities Supporting pupils in class and on a 1:1 or small-group basis Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation Assisting with learning activities and personal development Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Requirements Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs A patient, resilient and proactive approach Ability to drive, due to the location of the setting Experience within SEN or alternative provision is highly desirable Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
