Our client, a high-growth global macro research provider, is looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join their London team. This is an opportunity to break into the research and capital markets space while working closely with senior sales professionals who sell into hedge funds, asset managers, and major institutional investors.
The company produces influential macro, equity, and thematic research consumed by some of the world’s most sophisticated investment professionals. They are seeking someone driven, energetic, and commercially switched-on — attitude is everything here.
What you’ll do:
* Generate and qualify leads across institutional investors (hedge funds, asset managers, wealth managers, etc.)
* Build a strong understanding of the research product suite to articulate value to prospective clients
* Support senior sales colleagues with pipeline activity, meeting preparation, and outreach campaigns
* Manage inbound and outbound activity across email, phone, and events
* Work closely with research, sales, and leadership teams to ensure smooth client engagement
* Track all sales activity and progress through CRM
* Contribute ideas to improve outreach strategy and market penetration
Who we’re looking for:
* 12–18 months of experience in a commercial, outbound-focused role
* (Examples include FX sales, SaaS sales, delegate/event sales, recruitment, or similar.)
* Strong communication skills and confidence speaking to senior decision-makers
* High energy, resilience, and a naturally curious approach
* Interest in markets, macro, or financial services (no technical background required)
* Self-starter mindset and appetite to progress quickly within a high-performing team
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment
