We are looking to recruit a flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our friendly and supportive Premises Team as a Cleaner. The successful candidate will ensure the school site is cleaned daily and provide a good learning environment for students and staff the following day. The position is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets. This will require duties such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, toilets, tables, chairs, etc. A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable but training will be given.
Job Details
* Role: Cleaner
* Contract: Permanent, 41 weeks per year
* Hours: 15 hours per week
* Salary: Scale 1, Point 2 £24,413 FTE (Actual Salary £8,903 - £9,035 depending on years’ service)
* Closing Date: 19 September at 12pm Midday
Responsibilities
* Clean the school site daily to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets
* Vacuum, dust, and clean washroom areas, toilets, tables, chairs, etc.
* Follow health and safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely (training provided)
