About The Role
Working Hours: 35 Hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term until end March 2026

This role is subject to 2 References - where possible we require 3 years' employment history. This is a temporary role, covering 6 months maternity leave to March 2026.
This role will sit within the Waste and Recycling service, working across the city to help deliver waste and recycling services to the residents of Manchester, with the overall aim of maintaining and improving standards of street cleansing, waste collection, waste reduction and recycling.
The role also involves the assistance in managing the contract with our third-party contractor who provides services on our behalf.
The role requires experience with SAP requisitioning, as there is a lot of raising purchase orders and paying invoices required in this role.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, experience of managing multiple tasks with a personal ethos of continuous improvement, and they will strive to develop new ways of working, increased efficiency and creative solutions.
SAP experience / a knowledge of the SAP system is desirable.
