Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers by managing administrative tasks, conducting research, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires strong organisational skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to analyse information effectively.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
* Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide relevant information to attorneys.
* Maintain and organise case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
* Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters to gather information and provide updates.
* Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings for attorneys.
* Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
* Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
