Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: On-site, North London Site Location : Across London and within M25 Work Hours: : Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (occasional weekends and overtime may be required). Key Responsibilities: Site Management & Oversight: * Oversee daily day- to- day operations on-site, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. * Read and interpret Scope of Works (SOW) and drawings accurately. * Plan, allocate, and supervise work for the team, both in- house labour and subcontractors. * Monitor materials, issue order requests, ensure efficient use and oversee timely delivery. * Maintain site setup, safety, and security, including sign-in areas and HSE folders to JPD standards * Check PPE and uniforms regularly, conduct inductions, toolbox talks and update the site diary Team Leadership & Communication: Maintain excellent communication with direct line managers, Project Manager, Contract Manager, Quantity Surveyors contract administrators, architects, subcontractors, Building Control Officers and clients. * Prepare weekly job lists, targets, and material orders. * Raise and escalate any potential issues affecting programme or quality of works in advance Health & Safety: * Conduct regular checks and maintain accident/near-miss books. * Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards. * Organize site rubbish removal, skips, and general housekeeping. Paperwork & Reporting: * Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential * Ability to use AutoCAD or similar software to read drawings and dimensions is beneficial * Complete required paperwork promptly, accurately, and professionally. * Maintain weekly progress reports and on site and off site materials tracking. Qualifications & Requirements: * In- depth knowledge or UK construction industry, building regulations and British standards * Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in the construction industry, managing projects ranging from £1M–£5M. * Specialisation in complex cut and carve, temporary structural and new build Projects * Good written and spoken English for documentation and communication. * Hold SMSTS, Black CSCS, and First Aid certifications * Valid driving license preferred. * Ability to read drawings and specifications is essential. * Highly organised Why Join Us? * Work in a company with a forward-thinking culture. * Opportunities for professional growth and certification support. * JPD has secured a pipeline of project well into 2027
