Early Pregnancy Specialist Nurse / Midwife

Early Pregnancy Specialist Nurse / Midwife based in Derry/Londonderry - Altnagelvin Hospital.


Responsibilities

* Assess, develop, implement and evaluate patient client care for EPAU services and other gynaecology outpatient clinics.
* Responsible to complete audits and ensure guidelines and policies are up to date and implemented as per Trust policy.
* Provide person-centred care to ensure continuity of care within agreed standards.
* Contribute to effective team working and supervise qualified and or unqualified staff.


Skills and Qualifications

* Registered on part 1 (Branch - Adult) of the NMC register or Midwifery.
* Hold a recognised post registration qualification in Ultrasound scanning or must be willing to undertake early pregnancy scanning module on appointment if required.
* 2 years post-registration experience excluding courses.
