The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute and driven Commercial Manager with scaffolding industry experience to oversee the financial and contractual performance of our projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for maximising profitability, managing risk, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all commercial aspects of scaffolding projects from tender to final account
* Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
* Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts
* Lead and support estimating and quantity surveying functions
* Identify and mitigate commercial risks
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
* Support business development and tender submissions
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role within the scaffolding industry
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent negotiation and financial management skills
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Relevant degree (Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or similar)
* Experience working with main contractors and developers
* Strong understanding of scaffolding regulations and compliance
