Overview

Job Title: Manufacturing Services Technician – Electrician (Machine Tool Maintenance – Electrical)

Working Pattern: Full Time – Shift Working – 3 Shift Pattern

Working location: Bristol (non-hybrid role)

The role will be in our Defence business, supporting our Engine Build operations.

What We Offer

As part of the shift working agreement, you would be expected to carry out 2 weeks of dayshift approx 07:15-15:45, followed by 2 weeks of nightshift approx 22:20-07:35, followed by 2 weeks of afternoon shift approx 15:30-22:30. Averaging 37.5 Hours per week.

Local agreements apply and can be discussed in person during interview if successful in reaching this stage. This does attract a shift premium.


What You Will Be Doing

* Put safety first, ensuring our equipment is operating to the highest standard and available when our customers require
* Make a difference - working directly in our Engine Build facility you will be an important part of our team and critical to delivering what we said we would to our customers.
* Develop yourself - There is a wide range of equipment to work with; as your knowledge, experience and qualifications grow there is a career path to follow.


Who We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role you will need to have a breadth of experience that you can call upon in electrical maintenance and installation work.

* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Electrotechnical time served apprenticeship
* Current BS7671 Certificate (currently 18th Edition)
* Experience fault finding and working on safety-critical equipment such as machine tools, chemical process lines or similar
* 2391 Test & Inspect Training is desirable
* Able to work to engineering drawings, with a good understanding of Electrical Principles, Installation and Maintenance Operations
