NLC11 £48, - £53,
Based within our Bellshill Depot, you will be responsible for the effective scheduling and routing of the Council’s fleet, ensuring that systems and controls are in place to maximise productivity of the Council’s fleet and minimise costs.
Customer focused with a HNC, SVQ3, and Apprenticeship or equivalent in a related discipline, you will have extended experience in a relevant field including experience of supervising a team and the day-to-day provision of Fleet services. You will also have experience of managing Health & Safety in a workshop environment and be aware of legislative directives and imperatives for fleet management and how to put these into practice.
Excellent organisational, IT and communications skills are essential along with experience of audit procedures and ensuring that performance measures are maintained and work is undertaken to required standards. It is also essential that you have an understanding of compliance requirements with regards to Fleet vehicles and are able to analyse data and produce relevant reports.
A current driving licence is required for this role.
This is a temporary post until 1st of April .
Work Pattern -
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.30pm
Friday 7.30am to 3pm
