The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach Apprentice to join our coaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport and wants to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised coaching qualification.
You will learn on the job, supported by experienced coaches and mentors, while completing your apprenticeship training.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering high-quality sports coaching sessions
* Support lead coaches in schools, clubs, and holiday programmes
* Help plan and set up engaging and safe activities
* Build positive relationships with participants, parents, and staff
* Ensure sessions follow health & safety and safeguarding guidelines
* Represent the company in a professional and positive manner
What We're Looking For
* A genuine passion for sport and working with young people
* Positive attitude, energy, and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred (or willingness to work towards them)
* No previous coaching experience required — full training provided
