Location - Wythenshawe, South Manchester
Position - KS1 Teacher

Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale.
Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Teaching: Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
Assessment and Tracking: Regularly assess student progress and implement effective strategies to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional support.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
Collaboration: Work alongside the KS1 team and other staff members to ensure consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.
Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure open communication and support for the children's academic progress.
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS and Experience: It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven't completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course.
To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years.
