About this job
To provide supervision of reception and oversee patient affairs services, ensuring efficient administrative support across the unit.
This includes overseeing petty cash/patient funds administration, staff supervision, Rota management, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and financial instructions.
The post holder will support both clinical and administrative teams, maintain high standards of record keeping, and contribute to service development.
Supervise receptionists and admin staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Manage shift rotas and ensure adequate cover.
Chair regular team meetings and disseminate information.
Implement supervision and appraisal processes, including Personal Development Plans.
Administer petty cash and travel expenses for patients.
Assist in managing financial information systems in line with Trust protocols.
Provide financial reports to senior staff as required.
Conduct audits of patients' property and report findings.
Conduct annual audits in line with the Trust’s financial standards and policy.
