Appointment of Salaried General Practitioner
About Shropdoc
Shropdoc is a trusted, not-for-profit healthcare provider delivering exceptional primary care services across England and Wales. We work closely with the NHS to provide Out of Hours GP care, urgent care triage, home visits, and operate medical practices in Powys—improving access to healthcare for rural communities.
The Role
Following the retirement of one of our GPs at Presteigne Medical Practice, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join the welcoming and well-established team, part of the Shropdoc family. This is more than a clinical role, it’s an opportunity to shape new models of rural primary care and make a real impact on local communities.
The successful post-holder will work as a salaried GP providing primary care for approximately 3,600 patients. Presteigne is part of the Mid-Powys Primary Care Cluster, which has a combined list size of around 31,000 patients.
