About The Role

Location: ST10 4DB
Shift Pattern: Any 5 from 7, working 1 in 3 weekends.

We are looking for a skilled Gas/Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across the Resort’s gas equipment and utility infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all gas-related systems and installations across the Theme Park and Hotels.


Key Responsibilities

* Commissioning and servicing boilers ranging from 24kw to 200kw+.
* Repairing, installing, and maintaining gas equipment and all associated pipework.
* Performing maintenance and plumbing tasks on pipework and appliances throughout the Theme Park and Hotels.
* Collaborating with a multi-skilled team to support both the maintenance and compliance functions.
* Ensuring the safe operation of all non-ride equipment, systems, and installations.
* Taking part in ongoing training and development to enhance and broaden your skillset.
* Working independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance demands.
* Availability for occasional weekend work, including working every third weekend.


Required Minimum Qualifications

* Changeover from Domestic to Commercial Gas (CODNC01).
* Core Commercial Qualification.
* Valid and in date Gas Safe Registration and car


Required Technical Qualifications

* COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety)
* CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances)
* CORT1 (Commercial Overhead Radiant Tube & Plaque Heaters)
* ICPN1 (Installation of Commercial Pipework)
* TPCP1 (Testing & Purging of Commercial Pipework)
* TPCP1A (Testing & Purging of Low-Pressure Commercial Pipework)

Apprenticeship in relevant mechanical services engineering discipline to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or C&G level 3 or ONC or BTEC. relevant Safe Gas registration modules and with a flexible approach to work.
