Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students in a secondary school in Poole. This role involves working with students aged 11-18, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), to help them reach their full potential.
The Role:
* Providing tailored academic and emotional support to students, including those with SEN needs.
* Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or within small groups to enhance their learning experience.
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive classroom environment.
* Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
* Monitoring student progress and offering feedback to teaching staff and parents where necessary.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN.
* A patient and compassionate approach to supporting students.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Right to work in the UK.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
