Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager – £70,000 to £105,000
London | Hybrid - remote - limited travel into London required
The role
We are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing tax team, working with a varied portfolio of business clients. The role combines corporate tax compliance with advisory work, supporting clients to meet both their tax obligations and wider commercial objectives.
You will take ownership of client relationships, deliver high-quality technical work, and support the development of more junior team members.
Key responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering compliance and advisory services
* Review corporate tax returns, computations and tax accounting disclosures
* Sign off tax returns for more complex clients with a high degree of autonomy
* Act as the main point of contact for clients on corporate tax matters
* Provide advice on areas such as corporate tax planning, restructuring and transactions
* Support clients with HMRC enquiries and tax investigations
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across audit, advisory and other service lines
* Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development
* Contribute to improving processes and ways of working within the tax team
* Coach and support junior team members with their technical and professional development
About you
* Experience managing a corporate tax client portfolio within practice
* Strong technical knowledge across UK corporate tax
* Comfortable working with a range of clients, including large groups and owner-managed businesses
* Confident communicator, able to explain complex tax issues clearly and practically
* Collaborative approach with an interest in developing others
* Client-focused, with an emphasis on delivering a high standard of service
