Data Analyst ​ An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst at Dals to join our growing team as we continue our journey to become fully data-driven business. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 4, where you will be responsible for leading the development/management of client facing and internal reports. This is a great opportunity to get hands on with SQL, Databricks and Power BI. ​ We’re currently transitioning all reporting into Power BI, using SQL and Databricks to develop high quality insights and reporting across the business. We begin our next phase of our Databricks implementation in the coming months, so now is the ideal time to get involved. ​ The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management skills, as you will be responsible for liaising with client account managers and key business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of contractual reporting and help build a data-driven culture. ​ Main Duties & Responsibilities ​ Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain client facing & internal reports and dashboards to support service delivery. Ad-hoc data analysis: Support business users with ad-hoc data requests to support business decision making. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements. Key Technologies: the business is moving away from manual Excel reporting to scalable solutions using SQL, Power BI, and Databricks ​ About You ​ Education: degree in Mathematics or Computer Science may be beneficial but not essential. Experience: strong communication skills are essential – experience working with stakeholders/customers to manage expectations would be beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential. Experience with Alteryx, knowledge of SQL or Python would be desirable.
