About the Provision
Set within a tranquil Somerset landscape, this specialist setting supports young people aged 6–19 with Asperger’s and related needs, including autism and ADHD.
The focus is on building confidence, independence and a love of learning through a structured and nurturing approach.
The Role
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to deliver engaging secondary lessons and broaden pupils’ communication and literacy skills.
Opportunities are available on a part-time or full-time basis with an immediate start.
Working Pattern
* 8.30am – 3.30pm
* Term-time schedule
* Flexible hours based on provision needs
Key Duties
* Plan and deliver creative English lessons at secondary level
* Adapt teaching to suit individual learning profiles
* Track progress and provide meaningful feedback
* Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
* QTS or relevant teaching qualification
* Strong understanding of autism and associated conditions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
