Responsibilities You will deliver quality education to young children and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school. You will observe, assess and record the developmental progress of each of the children in the nursery, sharing this progress with the child, their family and other professionals. You will enable and support professional development, dialogue and discourse within the nursery setting and support the establishment quality assurance process. The Individual You will have a knowledge of the relevant early years curriculum area and an awareness of the main current issues in Scottish Early Learning and Childcare. You will have demonstrable experience of early years provision and you will have evidence of appropriate CPD in a range of areas. You will have a willingness to undertake curriculum/personal development. In addition, you will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, have good communication/interpersonal skills and relate well to others. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
