We're looking for graduates to join our diverse and highly capable teams across the FCA. 

About the programme

Our Regulatory Summer Internship offers you a unique opportunity to experience the breadth of regulation at the FCA. Over ten weeks, you'll gain first-hand insight into the financial services industry, regulatory frameworks, and the vital role we play in protecting consumers and maintaining market integrity.

During your internship, you'll begin developing core skills in judgement, engagement, self-management, and delivery. Your placement could involve supporting vulnerable consumers, conducting investigations, contributing to policy and strategy development, or supervising firms.

Your internship placement details will be shared with you before your join us, we select teams to support our interns in building skills, knowledge and experience across financial services, setting you up for success in your career with us.

If successful on our Regulatory summer internship you will be offered a place on our graduate scheme in the same location. Please consider this when applying for the internship and apply for the internship in the location you would also want to work for a graduate role.

Offers are subject to your ability to obtain and maintain your right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme.

There are Government restrictions on who can be sponsored. Due to government-imposed criteria, not all of our graduate programmes are eligible for Skilled Worker sponsorship. We can only consider offering sponsorship where the job meets the Skilled Worker Visa eligibility criteria. If you will require a Skilled Worker Visa, please ensure you meet the Home Office eligibility criteria before applying for a place on the Scheme. Only one application is accepted across our early careers programmes within any six-month period

You must have obtained or be on track to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree from any university

Applicants for the 2026 summer internship must be in their penultimate year of study
