£45,000 – 55,000 plus benefits
Onsite in Edinburgh Monday to Friday with occasional trips to sites around the central belt
Must have a UK driving license

If so, keep reading because I’m seeking a hands-on IT Manager or experienced Infrastructure Engineer who wants to step up into a role which will allow more big picture / strategy.
Looking for someone not just to manage the IT function but to lead and improve it.
* You’ll provide strategic direction for the IT function, aligning IT goals with business objectives.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT services, including network management, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support services.
* Maintain and ensure the efficiency of all hardware, software and networking.
* Ensure security of data, firewalls, network access and backup systems.
* Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions.
* Ensure all system documentation is accurate and updated.
* Supporting all IT aspects within the company.
* Responsible for IT hardware – including but not limited to computers/printers/mobile phones/photocopiers.
* Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
* Identify and mitigate IT-related risks to safeguard organisational assets.
* Standardising IT operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance, ensuring every site and system adheres to the same high standards.
Tech wise you should be very familiar with Microsoft and cloud phone systems. Able to provide 1 st line support to users while managing larger IT projects within the company.
