We are now expanding our team of Night Production Assistants to work from 7pm to 7am on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. This is a permanent opportunity with a clear career development pathway and a starting salary of £38,121 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance).

The Hiring Process
Initial telephone screening call
Successful candidates will be invited to our assessment day, which includes an overview of the role and Nexperia, practical exercises, and a short interview. The assessment day will be held on Thursday 19th March, with a short follow up appointment for successful candidates with our Occupational Health team on Monday 23rd March
What Our Production Assistants Do
You will be part of a large team that plays a vital role in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices within a high-volume, high-tech wafer fabrication area. You will follow written instructions to operate sophisticated equipment in a cleanroom environment to produce our finished silicon microchips. Nexperia chips are used in everyday products such as mobile phones, home appliances, smart wearables, electric vehicles, and more.
With full training you will:
Complete daily tasks with the support of your Team Leader
Learn to operate high tech equipment, including achieving required wafer output per hour
Follow production change procedures and adhere to all cleanroom working and safety practices
Complete documentation and enter transactions into the Factory Works system
What Our Production Assistants Need
Essential Requirements:
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Methodical thinking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a proactive mindset
Excellent time management and reliability
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a production or factory environment
Cleanroom experience
Mechanical or technical experience with machines or tools
Desire to learn & progress within the organisation
