Electrical Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Estates Team based in Coventry.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will play a pivotal role in supporting the Maintenance Operations Manager. You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical & electrical preventative and breakdown maintenance, installations on workshop equipment, facility plant and site services.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will:
1. To perform daily preventative and breakdown maintenance activities on Plant and equipment
2. Carryout electrical Installations, such as new electrical connections for plant and machinery, commissioning and decommissioning of equipment and plant
3. Work alongside external contractors to ensure machine and facility repairs, renewals and maintenance are carried out in respect to MTC instruction and standards
4. Review external contractors’ health and safety documentation prior to work commencing on site
5. Ensure high standards of housekeeping, work quality and work attitude
6. Installation of equipment & facility plant on all MTC sites
7. Carry out Fault diagnosis and problem solving on equipment and facility Plant
Person Specification
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
8. Previous Experience in a Maintenance or Facilities role
9. L3 Qualification in Electrical installation such as C&G L3 2360 or 2365 or equivalent
10. Level 3 inspection and testing C&G 2391 or equivalent
11. 18th edition wiring regulations
12. Ability to work at height
13. Full UK Driver's License is essential to the role.
14. Provide standby cover out of hours on a 24/7 rota basis in case of an emergencies and be flexible to provide cover if required for holidays and sickness
15. Willingness to learn and progress in an ever-changing environment

17. Ability to use a mobile phone to open, close jobs on a CAFM system
