Rate of Pay: £21.00 - £26.69 per hour
Summary:
The Housing Officer will deliver a high-quality estate management service, managing a patch of approximately 400 properties. The role focuses on tenancy management, rent arrears recovery, estate inspections and customer engagement, ensuring excellent service delivery and tenancy sustainment.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a designated housing patch of circa 400 properties
* Deliver effective tenancy management, including tenancy audits and sign-ups
* Proactively manage and recover rent arrears in line with income management policies
* Conduct estate inspections to maintain standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
* Respond to and manage anti-social behaviour cases and tenancy breaches
* Carry out home visits, including pre-court visits and court attendance where required
Qualification:
* To be educated to GCSE Maths and English A-C or equivalent
Essentials:
* Substantial experience working within a social housing environment
* Practical experience of rent arrears recovery and income management
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
