About the role
As a Live-in Carer in Southend On Sea, you'll move into the client's home to provide round the clock support.
Responsibilities
* Companionship – keeping clients happy
* Personal hygiene support – helping with washing and dressing
* Medication – reminders and collecting prescriptions
* Meal preparation – assisting at mealtimes
* Housework – laundry, cleaning and tidying
* Errands – shopping assistance and running errands
* Mobility – helping with getting around
Working patterns
Live-in Carers may work short‑term placements or more permanent ones. Hours and patterns vary to suit both your needs and the client’s needs.
Hours and location
You will work in the client’s home and live there 24/7. The role is based in Southend On Sea and surrounding areas.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (where required)
* A caring and positive attitude
* Willingness to learn; training will be provided by Alina Homecare Academy
Training and support
Previous experience and professional qualifications are not required. Our Alina Homecare Academy will provide exclusive training to help you prepare and be ready from day one.
