Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment is seeking to appoint a Service Manager on behalf of our client, a charitable organisation committed to supporting the local community. To lead and manage the safe, effective, and sustainable delivery of services across Neath and Port Talbot, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and ongoing development of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Service Delivery & Operational Management Ensure the safe and effective delivery of services in Neath and Port Talbot. Oversee the day-to-day management of services and staff. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, GDPR, and the Equality Act. Maintain accurate records of service usage and ensure timely submission of monitoring reports. Provide accurate operational and performance reports to the Board of Directors as required. Manage premises and equipment, including the wheelchair accessible vehicle. 2. Service Development & Promotion Work in conjunction with the Service Development Officer to develop and promote services across Neath Port Talbot. Explore and enhance the use of social media and other communication channels to increase awareness and usage of services, including the wheelchair accessible vehicle. Actively promote services by developing and maintaining links with local organisations across all sectors. Identify opportunities to deliver services in a sustainable and effective way. Explore suitable funding opportunities in conjunction with the Board and external partners. 3. Governance & Compliance Support Support the Board of Directors to ensure compliance with Charity and Company Law. Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on agreed actions. Provide reports and updates on the operation and performance of services. Hours: 15 hours per week (3 days per week) Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract (subject to funding) Location: The role is based in Neath; however, travel between the Neath office and the Port Talbot base will be required.
