It’s a hands-on, lead-from-the-front position where you’ll:Define customer requirements (sometimes from scratch)Own the full design flow in Altium 365Build, test, iterate and validate with safety and quality in mindResearch and advise on regulatory compliance across global marketsDeliver new hardware products into productionYou’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and project leads. You’ll be trusted to make design decisions — and expected to drive projects forward.DutiesLead hardware development from requirements through to productionCollaborate with the project engineer to define scope, timelines and delivery plansMake robust component choices, design PCBs in Altium 365, and oversee prototyping and testConduct hazard and risk analysis, support FMEA and DFMEA as neededEnsure compliance with IEC 62619, UN38.3, CE, and IEC 61508Contribute to functional safety efforts in upcoming high-voltage battery platformsOccasionally support customer discussions or on-site visitsMaintain a zero-compromise attitude on safety, traceability, and qualityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field5+ years in electronics hardware design and NPIProven experience taking products from concept to productionStrong knowledge of high-voltage systems and/or battery applicationsSolid understanding of functional safety principles (SIL preferred)Experience working with international regulations and complianceProficiency in Altium 365 and PCB development best practicesConfident communicator, methodical problem-solver, and self-starterAbility to lead by example, own your work, and hit delivery targetsWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means owning hardware design projects end-to-end, driving them into production, and setting the bar for quality and accountability.
