Job Title: Security Operations – Servers

Overview
A strong and consistent personality is required to take responsibility for all elements maintaining minimum security application and patch levels on approximately 800 servers across the EMEA region. The role involves working remotely, with in-country support as needed, creating and applying processes to update systems that have missed existing automated processes, either manually or through automation. Frequent communication with specific teams is necessary to ensure timely software and agent updates with minimal business disruption.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, basic Active Directory, and a practical understanding of other operating systems (e.g., Linux, IBM), along with proficiency in spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) and structured data presentation.
Experience with QUALYS and/or PALO ALTO CORTEX is beneficial.
With full management support, the role involves daily reporting of SecOps status related to servers, with a focus on security, without bureaucracy or emotion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Collaborate with local and international IT teams using existing and new service management tools.
* Identify and remediate unpatched and insecure servers and endpoints.
* Provide daily and real-time security status reports on servers.
* Maintain installation of security tools and agents, supported by asset management systems.
* Propose efficiency improvements within the Security Operations team.
* Support asset management, including IT equipment and software licenses/subscriptions.
* Participate in special projects, assist leadership, and perform administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and excellent fluent written/spoken English is essential, given the multicultural environment. Additional languages are advantageous.
A minimum of three years’ experience in patching, security tools installation, remediation, and data management in a technical support or server administration role is required. Self-motivation, proactive thinking, and strong interpersonal skills are crucial.
