Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship.
You will also support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to play an active part in the strategic evolution of both championships and contribute to the excellence of the FIA rallying worldwide.
You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Sporting coordination – WRC: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, and WRC consultants); manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations; oversee the accreditation process for the championship; ensure the accuracy and compliance of all official championship documents; identify and propose continuous improvements to enhance the quality and visibility of the WRC and JWRC.
* Event support – JWRC (Max 6 events/year): Act as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events; assess on-site conditions and services provided to JWRC competitors; present detailed reports after each event; serve as a liaison with all relevant stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, and officials.
* Delegate coordination: Coordinate communication with FIA delegates and consultants.
* Reporting: Collect reports from FIA officials (sporting, safety, media, and technical delegates); support governance and regulatory activities; assist in the preparation of WRC Commission meetings; draft and follow-up on sporting regulations; support FIA seminars and officials’ summits.
* Championship calendar management: Monitor and review calendar applications submitted by the ASNs.
* Communication and website coordination: Ensure up-to-date championship information on fia.com; update standings and classifications.
PROFILE:
* University degree, preferably in Sports Management or related field
* Strong knowledge of rallying
* Experience as a co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is a plus
* Familiarity with FIA regulations
* Legal and governance knowledge is a plus
* Fluency in English; French or Spanish is a plus
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
* Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
* Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities
