Foundation Learning is the 23/24 winner of the RCU Beacon Award for Support for Students and an outstanding area of the college that provides a number of highly successful study programmes for learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).
Responsibilities
* Motivate, enthusiastic and a strong team player focused on delivering best possible outcomes for learners.
* Deliver highly effective Teaching, Learning and Assessment throughout a timetable within Foundation Learning.
* Maximise learners' potential to make positive progress towards their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and/or personalised outcomes, aspirations and ultimately support sustainable destinations.
* Promote inclusive practice, deliver high quality lessons and develop individualised teaching, learning and assessment approaches.
Qualifications
* Experience working with learners with SEND/SEMH.
* Specialist area of expertise that will benefit the department.
