The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) combines innovative and world-renowned 4* research in one of the most creative universities in the UK with the expertise of leading academics in the fields of economics, marketing, management, innovation and occupational psychology. The IMS is based on a unique, interdisciplinary collaboration that draws on research and teaching in diverse yet complementary subjects.
The role holder will be expected to teach modules across the spectrum of management, marketing and innovation, combining perspectives from different disciplines. Although we welcome applications from all research perspectives on the interface between management, marketing and innovation, our existing research profile would especially benefit from research and knowledge exchange activities that address the interface between creative practices and the early stages of innovation.
You will have a good first degree and a PhD (or equivalent) in management, marketing, innovation or related disciplines. Applicants must have high-quality publications, experience in knowledge exchange activities, and an innovative long-term research programme that combines the conceptual, empirical, and knowledge-exchange dimensions.
