Overview

The Key Account Associate supports the management and development of key customer accounts by building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering customer-focused solutions. The role contributes to revenue growth through effective account coordination, pipeline development, and consultative sales practices aligned with Yokogawa’s commercial strategy. A key focus of this role is supporting a strategic customer, Rolls-Royce SMR (Small Modular Reactors). Training will build a strong understanding of this customer’s business, projects, and requirements. A significant portion of responsibilities may expand to a broader customer portfolio over time as business needs evolve.


Responsibilities

* Account Management
o Support the development and execution of account plans for assigned customers
o Maintain regular contact with customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction
o Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs
* Business Development
o Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
o Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
o Support sales activities including customer meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
* Customer Engagement & Solution Selling
o Understand customer needs, challenges, and business drivers through structured engagement
o Assist in developing and presenting tailored value propositions
o Support the sales process from opportunity identification through to closure
* CRM & Pipeline Management
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Workday)
o Track opportunities, activities, and customer interactions
o Support pipeline reviews and reporting
* Customer Insights
o Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement
o Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
* Compliance & Process Adherence
o Follow Yokogawa policies, sales processes, and compliance requirements
o Ensure data accuracy and adherence to governance standards
* Continuous Development
o Develop product, market, and sales knowledge through ongoing learning
o Participate in training and coaching initiatives
* Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
o Contribution to sales pipeline and opportunity conversion
o Customer engagement and relationship development
o CRM data quality and activity tracking
o Support to revenue growth within assigned accounts

What We Promise To Offer

* Competitive salary, level depending on experience, plus incentive package
* Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs
* Excellent benefits including car allowance, company pension contribution up to 12.5% dependent upon criteria, private medical insurance and healthcare scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with increments based on length of service
