🌟 We're Hiring: HCPC Registered Psychologist – Children & Young People 🌟


🕒 Full-time | Permanent

💼 Specialist Role | Multi-Disciplinary Team Environment


Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people with complex mental health needs? We’re seeking a HCPC Registered Psychologist to join a dedicated team and lead the delivery of psychological therapies across a network of therapeutic residential care homes.


🔍 About the Role


As a key member of the therapeutic team, you will:

* Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health disorders, including complex trauma, learning disabilities, and autism.
* Lead the development and implementation of psychological therapies across services.
* Provide expert consultation, guidance, and support to non-psychologist colleagues and carers.
* Work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to a trauma-informed, psychologically driven model of care.


🧠 Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments using a range of tools and methods.
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
* Deliver direct and indirect psychological interventions to individuals, families, and groups.
* Provide specialist risk assessments and contribute to risk management planning.
* Offer clinical supervision to trainees and assistant psychologists.
* Contribute to service development through research, audit, and training.


🎓 What We’re Looking For

* HCPC-registered Psychologist.
* Experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs.
* Skilled in a range of therapeutic approaches (e.g., CFT, DBT, DDP, Systemic Practice).
* Strong communication and consultation skills.
* A collaborative, flexible, and compassionate approach.
