We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our mental health team at HMP Stocken. HMP Stocken is a category C training prison housing around 1056 patients the majority of whom are aged between 21-40 years of age. You will be working close with the multidiaplinary team to deliver support to adult males with complex mental health and trauma needs.
Hours 20 hours per week works across 2.5 days We are happy to create a rolling rota 2 days one week 3 the next, and are flexible which days are worked Monday to Friday. We are also able to offer a full time role if working across both HMP Stocken and either HMP Gartree or HMP Five Wells
Salary
This position is 20 hours per week you’ll receive an annual salary up to £180,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
How will we support you?
1. You will be part of a team of 15 plus experienced and supportive Consultant psychiatrists
2. You will be able to attend monthly Consultant's meeting and 1:1 clinical supervision.
3. Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course
